Admission Process
The St. Andrew's admission process:
- Please call the Admission Office at 504-861-3743 ext. 1110 to schedule an appointment for a tour.
- Submit an application along with the $45.00 application fee to the Admissions Office as soon as possible. Please be sure you sign and return the "Transcript Release" form along with the application.
- St. Andrew's Episcopal School will request your child's transcripts (to include grades and any achievement testing available) from his or her current school. The Admissions Office will send your child's current teacher a confidential student recommendation form for completion. This form is returned directly to St. Andrew's Episcopal School.
- St. Andrew's Episcopal School requires that your child have an Intellectual Assessment (Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence III or Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children - Fourth Edition.) List of recommended psychologists.
- Children applying to Pre-kindergarten or Kindergarten will be observed at their current school. The Admissions Office makes arrangements for children applying to grades 1-8 to spend some time at St. Andrew's.
- All applications are processed through the Admissions Office and the Admission Committee reviews each applicant's completed file. Parents will be notified of admission decisions according to the schedule of dates set by the ISAS (Independent Schools Association of the Southwest) schools in New Orleans.
