What is the PC and who can be a Member?
Our Parents' Club exists to enhance our children's educational experiences, by encouraging active participation, mutual friendship, and a spirit of cooperation among our parents, teachers and the community. All parents having children in St. Andrew's Episcopal School are automatically members. 
 
PC Programs & Fundraising
A primary objective of our PC is to provide our school with funds, programs, and resources that will enrich and maximize the education of every child. To meet this important objective, and afford services that are not covered by our school budget, we offer several fundraisers throughout the school year.

Meetings & Events
The Parents' Club conducts three official meetings each year. Please mark your calendars with the following dates:
  • Tuesday, September 30th at 8:15 AM in Parish Hall (coffee at 8 AM)
  • Tuesday, January 26th at 7:00 PM in Chalstrom Parish House (refreshments at 6:45 PM)
  • Tuesday, May 4th at 8:15 AM in Parish Hall (coffee at 8 AM)
Major Fundraisers Planned for 2011-2012
  • Entertainment Book Sales -Our sale will kick-off at the start of the school year. Please tell your family and friends!
  • Vincent's Restaurant Dine Out for St. Andrew's - Don't forget to make your reservation at the uptown location!  October 4th & 5th, and March 20th  & 21st.
  • Rock-N-Bowl Fundraiser- Our 3rd Annual Rock-N-Bowl fundraiser is sure to be another great success! Save the date: March 4th at 3:30pm
  • Pizza Day Fundraisers - Check the school calendar for dates throughout the year when you can purchase delicious pizza by the slice from Pepperoni's Café, or pre-order a whole pizza to take home for dinner!
  • March Madness Basketball Tournament & School Fair - fun for the whole family!

Become a Volunteer...Why YOU should get involved!
As you can see, we have many exciting ventures in the works! This is where you can come in! We need your help, and so do your children.  Over 500 independent studies on parent involvement show that when parents get involved in their children's education grades go up, test scores improve, they have fewer discipline problems and they're less likely to use drugs and alcohol.  Get involved TODAY!
 
Communication & Volunteering
This year, the Parents' Club uses email as a primary means of communication. We will email requests for volunteers as the need arises. Our email address is parentsclub@standrewsepiscopalschool.org
 
PLEASE COME TO THE PARENTS' COFFEE ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 19, 2011 AT 7:45 AM IN ST. ANDREW'S PARISH HALL.  The coffee will be followed by a New Parents' Orientation at 8:15 AM.  Please stop by to pick up your SAES Customary.
